I created this space for a specific need: to write about what I care about most, which is investigating the human experience.
Esisto is an editorial space available in 5 languages (Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic): a meeting place, a digital sanctuary where one can take care of oneself.
Whatever the category of an article, its "permanent center of gravity" will always remain our being human, today. And to make this exploration even more enveloping, every piece of content is designed not only to be read but also to be listened to. Different sound moods have been curated as a base to host reading voiceovers (generated with ElevenLabs v3), thus converting the written word into a profound, fluid audio experience in every language.
And whenever possible, other voices, other authors, will be hosted to offer different viewpoints, ideas, and new questions.
The promise is quality: curiosity, openness, logic, and scientific rigor. Direct experiences and data, analysis and well-posed questions, interviews, and exchanges with human beings of diverse expertise.
Esisto was not born as an entrepreneurial endeavor but as a desire to write and discuss to learn, understand, evolve, and have fun. Therefore, whether this platform has only one subscriber or one hundred thousand, the commitment will remain exactly the same.
Now, a few lines on what you will find inside.
Articles and access levels
The article page is the heart of the Esisto experience. Each piece is enriched with a cover image, an audio player, an initial summary ("In Brief") to frame the theme, the body of the text, and a section dedicated to Sources, when present.
While the cover, the header, and the "In Brief" summary are always accessible to anyone to offer a taste of the content, access to the rest of the experience is divided into four transparent categories:
- OPEN: free access content, available to anyone visiting the platform, with no registration requirement;
- MEMBER: articles accessible to all registered users for free, as well as subscribers;
- PREMIUM: articles and active audio players only for those who support the platform with a subscription;
- SPONSORED: content supported in the future by brands, accessible to everyone for free. The brand's presence will be transparently indicated by a banner in the header, but Esisto's ethical policy is strict: the sponsor will have no power over the editorial line, the text will not advertise their products or services, and journalistic independence will remain total.
Finally, for Premium subscribers, the article becomes an interactive space: they can save it to favorites, add it to their personalized playlists, participate in the discussion in the comments, and instantly generate graphics optimized for sharing on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Stories.
Explore, Library, Playlists
Explore: the access point for Esisto content. It hosts the carousel of the 5 trending articles of the month and allows filtering the reading by mood, consumption time, and category. It includes the Serendipity Button: an algorithm that, based on reading history, suggests an article reflecting one's interests ("My Bubble") or explores new territories ("Outside the Bubble").
Library & playlists: the personal archive where you save favorite articles and manage your playlists. Playlists are entirely customizable and support shared creation: every Premium user can invite up to 4 collaborators via their handle.
Electa
The monthly editorial playlist. A guided and synergistic journey through the platform's articles, designed to trace a "common thread" on a specific theme.
Iŏcus
The space for discovery. Every day, a new multiple-choice thematic quiz is proposed, designed to stimulate curiosity. At the end of the path, the platform suggests a related archival article to deepen the themes that emerged from the game.
Animus
A discussion board that feeds the platform's "Collective Consciousness". Here, subscribers can publish an Echo (a profound thought of a maximum of 500 characters) and start discussions with other subscribers on current, philosophical, and existential topics.
Anima
The space for surrender and listening. It houses 9 meditation rooms with immersive and customizable soundscapes via a dedicated mixer. Users can calibrate the experience by inserting Tibetan singing bowl intervals, session timers, or overlaying a guided meditation onto the room's soundscape.
There are other parts of Esisto, such as the Profile/Settings page, the Support page, the About page, the author profile pages, and other internal mechanisms related to notifications, comments, etc... I leave their discovery to you, and of course, if you encounter any problems, please write to me using the specific form.
Changes or additions to sections are not ruled out in the future. Dreaming big, it would be wonderful to include a section to organize offline Esisto meetings... we'll see 😊
Thank you for reading this introduction. I hope to offer you a positive contribution every time you decide to stop among the pages of Esisto.
